Video Assistant
Part-time, Hourly position

Summary:
The Video Assistant will report to the Visual Assets Manager. This position will primarily focus on video editing, but may expand to content shoots, content uploading, brainstorming, video ideation. A minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 20 hours per week, with some flexibility and potential partial work from home time available.
Requirements:
- Prior video editing experience
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and take direction in a fast-changing environment
- Ability to effectively communicate
- General familiarity with the Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere
- Ability to learn other software programs quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to creatively brainstorm video ideas
- Reliable transportation
- General familiarity with YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
- Comfortable behind the camera
- Ability to receive and respond effectively to constructive criticism
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the whole team and participate in brainstorming sessions, content discussions
- Work closely with the Visual Assets Manager to receive and understand assignments
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Maintain PPRAA’s company brand throughout media offerings with consistent tone, fonts, colors etc
- Create content appropriate for a number of different platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous photo and video experience – samples of work required
- Experience with video editing software
Pay and Benefits:
- $16-$22 per hour
- Mileage (set at annual national rate)

Background:
Pikes Peak Region Attractions Association (PPRAA) is a privately held, collaborative-marketing trade organization, created by a small group of attraction owners in 1973 to collectively promote the region to leisure travelers. Each member attraction has a seat on the board of directors, currently a total of 29 area attractions. The association is run by an Executive Director who answers to the board and all managers of PPRAA report to the Executive Director.
