1350 Distilling Hosting 249th Birthday Celebration for the U.S. Marine Corps

Marines, family, and those interested in experiencing a U.S. Marine Corps birthday celebration are welcome. For the fifth year we are hosting the Birthday Celebration to celebrate the 249th Birthday of the U.S.M.C.

The Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony is full of traditions, including the cutting of the birthday cake. The first piece goes to the guest of honor. The second piece goes to the oldest Marine present who takes a bite and passes it to the youngest Marine present. This symbolizes the passing of tradition from the old to the young.  This year's guest speaker is Colonel (Ret) Mike Frazier.

Since opening their doors to the public in November 2019, 1350 Distilling has honored the Marine Corps each year with this traditional birthday celebration.

Local food truck, Turk-N-Stuff will be on-site again this year, selling their traditional turkey legs and other food offerings. Hello Sunshine Creatives is providing festive balloons and decorations as in previous years as well.

This special event is open free to the public, offering a unique experience  few people outside the Marine Corps have had. 1350 Distilling invites all to join in the festivities.

Please RSVP if you are planning on coming. We will have TURK-N-STUFF food truck for chow.

This year we will have a special USMC Birthday release rye whiskey that our neighbors and friends, Mash Mechanix helped us cook up. This is a very limited run and will likely sell out.
