Exploring Garden of the Gods on Horseback

While horseback riding through the park, you and your group will weave your way amongst the towering red sandstone formations that have made the Garden of the Gods a premier Colorado destination for visitors and locals alike. As you ride along the tranquil trails, Academy Riding Stable’s trained cowboys will share stories about the park and its history and point out the regional flora and fauna. On quieter sections of the ride, you may even catch a glimpse of some Colorado wildlife, including mule deer, foxes, rabbits and the elusive bighorn sheep.

These spectacular scenic horseback riding excursions are offered year-round (weather permitting) via one-hour and two-hour tours to individuals ages 8+ and within the 235-pound weight (106 kg). (By the way locals, Academy Riding Stables also offers full-care horse boarding for your horse.)
