Pikes Peak Country's
"CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS" Missing In Action!?
Pikes Peak Country Attractions Association's CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS, the hero of fun loving boys and girls, the buster of boredom, the blaster of the summertime blues and an all around great guy, is MISSING IN ACTION!
CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS was once dull, never had a date and owned a wardrobe of gray leisure suits. Then he was kidnapped by a band of roving attractions’ owners who took him to the top of Pikes Peak, gave him the ride of his life on the Sky Coaster, made him eat white water, and left him in a cave to find the true meaning of fun. When he emerged, he was CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS! He carries his power deep inside the Pikes Peak Pack he wears.
CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS travels throughout the Pikes Peak region, looking for innocent victims of boredom (there’s nothing to do), indecision (what can I do today?) and blocked vision (I did not know about all the things there are to do in my own back yard). When he finds a person in need, CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS reaches into his Pikes Peak Pack for a fistful of fun and once again CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS makes the world a better place for fun, laughter and the American vacation.
Normally, CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS can be seen at local attractions. When spotted, just answer correctly a few of the CAPTAIN'S QUESTIONS about the region and he will give you coupons and passes to area attractions. But to date, he hasn't been spotted once, leaving people to wonder, "Where has CAPTAIN ATTRACTIONS gone and will he ever be back?" Stay tuned to see if and how THE CAPTAIN will reappear in 2010!
