LUNCH & A LOOK AT THE GARDEN
Join local railroad enthusiast and expert Art Crawford at our next lecture on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at 12 noon in the Red Rocks Room, Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, for a free presentation about Railroads of the Pikes Peak Region. The program will last about 30 minutes, and then participants are invited to continue the conversation with lunch (at their own expense) and enjoy the view from our café. Reservations 719-219-0108.
On Tuesday, October 27, 2009, join Park volunteer naturalist Jeanne McElderry to explore the attributes of a most misunderstood mammal which resides at the Garden – the little brown bat. As Halloween arrives, come celebrate this holiday’s hero at a free half-hour presentation in the Red Rock Room, Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center.
