100-YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
UPDATE OF EVENTS
On Saturday, September 12, 2009, Glen Eyrie, Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, and Rock Ledge Ranch will celebrate General Palmer’s 173rd birthday with General Palmer’s 30th Street Legacy Event, beginning with a free lecture at the Glen at 10am followed by a brief tour, then a free tour of Orchard House at the Ranch and a free viewing of the movie at Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, along with cutting of a birthday cake, honoring General Palmer and the influence of his generosity to our City at 11:30 am.
