Tractor Show at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, August 8-9.
It looks like harvest time at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, Canon City, Colo., as the Arkansas Valley Flywheelers will put on their tractor show, August 8-9 at the park. Members will display their antique tractors and farm equipment.
Steve Cochran, treasurer of the Arkansas Valley Flywheelers said their members and tractors come from all over the Arkansas Valley, and have been around almost 20 years, debuting in 1987. This year’s President is Ed Mockensturm, Westcliffe, Colo.
Bringing his 1949 Allis Chalmers C, Cochran said the tractors will be on display at 10:00 a.m. each day.
The Royal Gorge Bridge and & Park is home to the world’s highest suspension bridge built in 1929 and has over 20 rides, shows and attractions.
