Plein Air Art Exhibit Reception
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
FREE and open to the public.
Reception to include a Plein Air demonstration, light Hors d' Oeuvres and beverages. The displayed artwork was painted by artists from the Palmer Lake Art Group and depicts scenes from the 27 acres of beautiful museum property. Thursday: Heritage Lecture Series
2009 marks the 150th anniversary of the Colorado Gold Rush. To continue this celebration, we have invited Dr. Laurence Jankowski to show and discuss his film "Gold in Colorado". Heritage Lectures are free and open to the public. Sponsored by Strategic Financial Partners. Lecture begins 7:00 p.m.

Saturday: Quarterly Workshop
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
The first in a series of workshops designed to teach through hands-on activities. This workshop will take an in-depth look at Halloween Make-up. Assisted by the make-up artists from the Haunted Mines, participants will explore the products, origins and application techniques used in various looks. Admission $10 per participant.
