Title: “The Utes – Our Neighbors”
Presenter: Bette Lamore, a longtime Park volunteer and history enthusiast
Summary: As the ongoing celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the gift of Garden of the Gods Park to the City of Colorado Springs continues, this month’s lecture focuses on the history of the Ute Indian Nation of Colorado. Photographs and replica artifacts
plus a lecture by Bette Lamore will highlight the significance of this Native American population and their historic role at Garden of the Gods Park. Reservations required, call 719-219-0108.
