*Wildlife Watch – Monday 6:30 pm – June 8 & 29,July 6 & 20,August 3

(Jeremy and Silvia Agnew, affiliated with Division of Wildlife) – dress for weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring binoculars, water and jacket as needed. Meet in Red Rocks Room.

Insect Walk –Tuesday 9 am – June 16, July 21, August 18)

(Bret Tennis, PR&CS Lead Naturalist) –dress for weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring water, sunscreen and hat. Meet in Red Rocks Room.

Geology Walk – Perkins Trail/Central Garden Zone - Tuesday 6:30 pm

June 2, July 7, August 11 – (Jay Temple, geologist) dress for weather,
bring water, hat, and jacket. Meet at Garden North Main Parking Lot trail head. Suggest seeing GoGV&NC movie, “How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?” prior to hike!

*Photography Walk – Wednesday 5 pm – June 10 & 24, July 8 & 22,

August 12 & 26 – (Paul deBerjeois, scenic photo artist) dress for weather, wear sturdy shoes & prepare to explore off-road 2 mile hike at GoG, bring water, hat & sunscreen, bring any ‘camera’ from cell phone to DSLR, tri-pod and polarizing filter also suggested, great experience for beginner, intermediate & advanced. Meet in Red Rocks Room.

*Wildflower Walk – Thursday 9 am- June 18, July 23, August 13

August 13 (Beverly Cellini, geology expert) – dress for weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring water, hat and jacket. Meet in Red Rocks Room. Suggest seeing GoGV&NC movie, “How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?” prior to hike!

*Bird Walk – Saturday 8 am – May 30, June 27, July 25

(Mark Pleimann – bird expert and hobbyist) – dress for weather, wear
sturdy shoes, bring binoculars, water, hat and jacket as needed. Meet in Red Rocks Room.

Bird Walk – American Birding Association -Saturday 8 am – May 23, June 20, July 18, August 15 - dress for weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring binoculars, water, and hat. Meet in visitor center parking lot.
