On Easter Sunday, April 12, the sun will rise at 6:40 a.m. just in time for several hundred guests to witness an awesome Colorado sunrise showcasing the granite walls of the Royal Gorge and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, Canon City, Colo., sponsored by the Canon City Ministerial Alliance. Sam Swancutt will play the bagpipes before and after the service. Royal Gorge Bridge & Park will also serve complimentary coffee and hot cocoa.
The speaker will be Don Farr, Executive Director of Loaves and Fishes, a non-profit organization sponsored by the Canon City Ministerial Alliance. Worship Music will be provided by Larry Kettle, Bridge to Life Church of Canon City.
