Carnivale Parade Shuttle Scheduled to Run on February 21, 2009
(Manitou Springs, Colorado) The 17th Annual Carnivale Parade in Manitou Springs will provide free transportation on Manitou Avenue for parade spectators and those wishing to attend the Mumbo Gumbo Cook Off in Soda Springs Park.
Shuttle service will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Manitou Avenue, stopping while the parade is in progress. The shuttle will circulate from the arch to Soda Springs Park. There will be shuttle stop signs placed along the route to allow people to access downtown and leave there cars at home or in outlying areas.
The theme for the parade is Indulge Your Appetites. Puppet workshops will take place at the Business of the Arts Center on February 14 and 15. The Mumbo Gumbo Cook Off will run from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Information on all Carnivale events can be found at 80829.com.
