Wildlife Adventure
Tuesday, November 4 – 10 am
Join lead naturalist Bret Tennis for a wildlife hike at Garden of the Gods Park. Look for migrating species, as well as year-round residents among the animals that share this autumn habitat. Free of charge. Reservations required – call 719-219-0108, limited to the first 25 participants. Meet in the Red Rocks Room. Dress for the weather; bring jacket, hat, binoculars, sunscreen and water. Wear sturdy shoes. Activity will last approximately one hour.
Lunch & A Look at the Garden
Wednesday, November 5 – noon
Enjoy lunch ‘with a view’ at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center café. Prior to lunch, a FREE presentation will be offered by Art Crawford, local railroad enthusiast, about historic railroading in the Pikes Peak Region. Reservations required – call 719-219-0108, limited to 25.
Wednesday, November 12 – noon
Enjoy lunch ‘with a view’ at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center café. Prior to lunch, a FREE presentation will be offered by Michelle McMurray about our local urban black bears. Reservations required – call 719-219-0108, limited to the first 25 responses.
